Slow31, is a circular economy project and promotion of local crafts in the field of textiles. Since 2018, first in a virtual way and now in a room/store in Liège that houses the non-profit organisation.
The project currently brings together :
A clothes barter and cocktail dress rental shop located on Quai Mativa in Liege
Awareness-raising workshops in secondary, higher and social schools
The organisation of courses and activities for children and adults
Networking events
A documentation centre and a pattern library
Our objective is to create a real reflection on the consumption of clothing and textiles and to propose attractive solutions for reuse. Our ambition, in the long term, is also to create the future "VESTIMENT-TERRE BELT" in Liege and to inspire other cities in the Walloon Region.
