"Ka Huna massage brings joy and life to your body,
a sense of peace to your mind, a sense of wonder to your soul."
Ka Huna is a table massage inspired by Hawaiian philosophy, body art and spirituality. What makes this massage unique is the combination of movement, dance, rhythm, energy, breathing and the use of pareos.
Another characteristic is the application of long, fluid, rhythmic movements of the hands and forearms that plunge over the surface of the body and nourish, detoxify the body, while the pressure of the elbows releases muscular pressure. The movements combine drainage techniques, gentle and deep muscle work and energy rebalancing techniques in the form of dynamic bodywork.
The movements are continuous, ample, like the ebb and flow of the waves that transport you, slowing down the rhythm of your thoughts and bringing out the sensations of liberation, letting go and deep relaxation.
The underbody work is highly appreciated by those who have received such a treatment because it is like a wave
"To receive such a massage is to be loved and cuddled as some experienced in childhood and others never. The sacred space created during the session can be symbolised as a safe matrix protecting us and preparing us for rebirth. Old physical and emotional patterns are released, making way for a new pattern of grounding and growth in life. Rebecca Balsacq
KA HUNA MORE THAN A MASSAGE
This unique and powerful ancestral Hawaiian treatment, if we surrender to it, can "touch" us beyond the skin, the muscles, the organs and invite us to be present to ourselves in the different areas of our daily life.
A Ka Huna massage is to let the inner calm flow within and the life force flow from each of our cells to offer the world what we are.
HOW DOES THE MASSAGE WORK?
- The treatment begins with the establishment of an atmosphere of humility, tranquility and confidence in order to explain what the Ka Huna massage is, its progress and to listen to your expectations and needs.
- Your practitioner gently warms your body using long, flowing strokes, gliding up, down and around your body like the waves of the ocean, removing stress, tension and pain from your body, leaving you in a state of well-being that lasts beyond the treatment.
- Finally, the massage ends with a 10-minute rest period to allow the body to regain its balance and integrate what has just been experienced at all levels.
