Les Terres D'ici - organic micro farm

Welcome to Les Terres D'ici, a place of (re)connection to the Earth and to nature.

The Pépinière du Long Fond in La Hulpe is being transformed into an integral part of a global ecological project.
This eco-farm includes different activities acting in synergy: a pesticide-free nursery, an organic agro ecological market garden, a place of education to share knowledge with children and adults and a restaurant that feeds on the richness of our garden and vegetable garden.

Our goal is to become a global ecological project aiming at respecting the environment, preserving health and promoting biodiversity while seeking a viable economic model.

Nursery:
We practice a careful selection of our producers, those who act in favor of biodiversity, in the respect of the living!
We use natural treatments to fight against pests (based on purins or thanks to the auxiliaries naturally present in the garden).

Market gardening:
The different plots of land we occupy total 6 hectares, of which 3 are dedicated to market gardening, following the principles of agro-ecology. We want to do diversified market gardening on a small area. We grow about thirty vegetables and about forty edible flowers and herbs.

Restaurant :
The old barn of the farm has been renovated and welcomes you for your lunches, aperitifs and dinners. Our restaurant has been reinvented thanks to the inspiration of a new chef. We are looking forward to introducing you to our new concept which will introduce you to a cuisine that follows the rhythm of the seasons and comes directly from our garden. The best of nature and our garden will be served in creative, gourmet and tasty dishes! A selection of organic and local beers, natural wine, garden cocktails, ... will also be served all evening.

Pedagogy:
The courses for children and the training courses for adults organized within the framework of the pedagogy pole pursue the objectives common to the whole project: reconnection with nature, awareness of environmental protection and sustainable food constitute the essence of our activities.
