Le comptoir du BIO is a local grocery store offering its customers organic and/or fair trade products with a minimum of packaging.

OBJECTIVES

To offer food produced with respect for the human and natural environment for a healthy diet at the best quality/price ratio. This philosophy and approach are intended to be economical and ecological, so it is essential for us to work with local producers as much as possible.

You will find a wide range of quality products, from fruit and vegetables to dairy products, meat, charcuterie, fish, as well as bakery products, pastries and some delicatessen dishes prepared on site. You will also find spices and cleaning products. Each product is identified by a card specifying its origin.

The majority of our products are sold in bulk. When the conditions of sale in bulk do not allow a satisfactory conservation of the quality of the product, they are sold with a minimum of packaging while favouring sustainable packaging.

Bulk is economical because buying products in bulk is cheaper than buying individually packaged products, and this is reflected in the selling price. So you can afford to buy organic for not much more than a packaged non-organic product. Bulk also means less waste as you buy the right amount for your needs. Don't hesitate to bring your own containers. They are weighed at the door, you fill them according to your needs and you only pay for the content and not the container. Not only is it economical, but you also contribute a little to saving our planet 🙂
